Our field trial training program is based upon working for and studying under 3 of today's top field trial trainers, 2 of which have trained several National Champions. Starting with basics, dogs advance through a program of basic obedience, force breaking, walking fetch, stick fetch, 3 handed casting then on to collar conditioning. We then move to pile work{the single T and double T on land then water}. Next is the swim by and water de cheating. IN our program dogs are marked with birds every day. Each marking set up is designed to advance the dogs natural marking ability. Dogs now begin the transition part of the program. This includes pattern blinds, land and water. Multiple marking with the introduction to retired guns. We shoot plenty of live birds to maintain a positive attitude.
